Applying as a (Hacker)space
When applying as a (hacker)space for a spacenet connection you should at least have some kind of directory-service (like LDAP) or member-database running; anything that is suitable for RADIUS. You should be able to setup a RADIUS-server that can authenticate to your local directory/database and that allows incoming connections.
Please read this howto before applying.

Applying for an Event
An event also needs a local RADIUS with a spacenet connection. This RADIUS-server can authenticate to a local directory/database, but this is not mandatory. You can setup a spacenet RADIUS-server for your event that is only used for authenticating users from the connected (hacker)spaces.
