Spacefed Usage Policy

In the past the Spacefed project had a gentleman's agreement about the usage policy. In order to make it more clear to participants in this project, we have decided to write down the basic usage policy.

General Rules

  1. All Spacefed connected services are provided to hacker/open source related communities with a member-administration
  2. No accounts shall be shared, Spacefed was founded as a way to ensure a higher security level for all users. Sharing accounts defeats this.

(Hosting) a Country Node

  1. Hosting a country nodes requires at least one administrator to register themselves on the mailinglist.
  2. Each Country Node Host is required to set up unique keys with other Country Nodes. No key re-usage is allowed.

Hosting a Community Node

  1. Make sure your participants/members have their own unique account.
  2. Keep your administration up to date.
  3. Revoke/Disable unused and old accounts.
