Use the network manager applet to connect to spacenet as you normally would to connect to a wireless network.

Depending on the implementation at your hackerspace, you would need to make some choices here.

It is recommended to use PEAPv0/EAP-MSCHAPv2, but some hackerspaces may have setups that don't permit this, therefore, the following 3 configurations are available. Please note that only PEAPv0/EAP-MSCHAPv2 and EAP-TLS will work out of the box on a windows machine).

PEAPv0/EAP-MSCHAPv2

  • Authentication: Protected EAP
  • PEAP version: Automatic
  • Inner authentication: MSCHAPv2
  • CA certificate: Add the server certificate

EAP-TTLS/PAP

  • Authentication: Tunneled TLS
  • Inner authentication: PAP
  • CA Certificate: ADD THE SERVER CERTIFICATE!!!

EAP-TLS

  • Authentication: TLS
  • CA certificate: Add the CA certificatie
  • Client certificate: Add the client certificate
